Arya AI · Call Assistant

Answers when you can't.

Arya AI picks up the calls you miss, talks to the caller, takes a message and sends you a summary. You decide how long your phone rings first.

What it does

A receptionist that never goes home.

Waits, then answers

It lets your phone ring up to five times first, or answers right away. If you pick up first, it stays out of the way.

Says it is an AI

The greeting names your business and tells the caller they are speaking with an AI assistant.

Answers from your facts

Hours, services, prices, address, common questions. Anything else, it says it will pass on to you.

Sends you the summary

You get who called, why, and what to do next. Urgent calls are marked.

Set up

Ready in a few minutes.

  1. Sign in

Use your Google account. If you are new, signing in once creates your account.

  2. Tell it about your business

Business name, your name, the name you want the assistant to use, a language, and everything callers ask about.

  3. Try it first

Talk to the assistant yourself from the app. Earphones help. Check the voice and the answers before real callers hear it.

  4. Switch it on

Allow Microphone, Phone and Notifications, and let the app run in the background. Now it answers for you.

Example call
AryaNamaste, this is Arya, the AI assistant of Mehta Dental Clinic. Dr. Mehta can't take your call right now. How can I help?
CallerI'd like to book a cleaning for tomorrow evening. Are you open after 6?
AryaWe're open until 7 pm on weekdays. I can't confirm a slot myself, so I'll pass this to Dr. Mehta and he'll confirm. May I have your name?
CallerRohit Verma. Same number I'm calling from.
AryaThank you, Rohit. I've noted a cleaning for tomorrow evening. Dr. Mehta will get back to you. Have a good day.
What you tell it

The more it knows, the less you do.

Type your information in plain sentences, the way you would brief a new receptionist.

  • Opening hours and holidays
  • Services and prices
  • Address and how to get there
  • Answers to the questions callers always ask
  • What to do for something urgent

If it doesn't know, it says so.

It will not guess. It tells the caller it will pass the question to you, then puts that in your summary.

Questions

Before you switch it on.

Will callers know they are talking to an AI?

Yes. The greeting always introduces the assistant as the AI assistant of your business. You can add one line of your own after it.

Can it leave my contacts alone?

Yes. Choose whether it answers everyone, or only numbers that are not saved in your contacts.

What if I answer the call myself?

The assistant waits for the number of rings you set. If you answer before then, nothing happens. If the call is still ringing after that, the assistant takes it.

Can it hear the caller properly?

It works through your phone's speaker and microphone, so a quiet place and a normal call volume help. Some phone models limit microphone access during calls, so try it with a friend before relying on it. How this works.

Does it work when the app is closed?

It needs to be switched on and allowed to run in the background. After your phone restarts, Android does not let a microphone service start by itself, so the app sends a notification and you tap it to switch the assistant back on.

Does it record the calls?

No audio is kept. Speech is turned into text and the audio is discarded. You keep the transcript and the summary. Privacy details.

Which languages does it speak?

English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi, or automatic. The spoken voice comes from your phone, so install the Google text-to-speech voice for each language you want to hear.

Which phones does it run on?

Android 10 or newer.
